Patties Prime Rib Burger Bar is the passion project of a husband-and-wife duo dedicated to bringing real, comforting food to the community. Specializing in homestyle burgers, crispy chicken, fresh fries, and authentic poutine, everything on the menu is crafted with care. Every single meal is made to order using high-quality ingredients, and nothing ever touches a freezer. It’s the ultimate comfort food experience, made exactly the way it should be.

Brand Identity:
Patties Prime Rib Burger Bar
The Challenges
The Vintage Look: Giving the client a detailed, old-school burger logo without making the brand look messy or out-of-date.
Small Sizes & Blurring: Keeping a detailed illustration from getting blurry or hard to read when shrunk down for things like social media avatars or tiny labels.
Working Everywhere: Making sure the logo looks great on everything from a giant storefront sign and staff shirts to print menus and website headers.
The Solutions
A Flexible Logo Family: Created a simple visual system with options for every space using the full burger illustration as the main logo, and a clean, bold text version for smaller spots where space is tight.
Bold Colors & Tall Text: Picked a strong, tall font paired with eye-catching yellow, black, and white colors so the brand instantly pops from a distance.
Built for Signs & Merch: Simplified the design for physical items, using the strong text layout on building signs and apparel to give the restaurant a cool, high-energy city feel.

Fun with Merch:
Staff Apparel with a Side of Humor
One of my favorite parts of this project was bringing the restaurant's playful personality to life through their staff t-shirts and merch. We didn't want standard, boring uniforms, so we designed a system where the front kept things branded and clean, leaving the back wide open for a bit of fun. I helped create a series of tongue-in-cheek, humorous slogans. To make it feel even more tailored, we made sure the jokes matched the crowd, mapping out different witty phrases across male, female, and kids' sizes so that the right shirt always ended up on the right person.
